Cookie Policy
Effective: 15 August 2026
This policy describes the cookies and browser storage FleetFault uses and why. A cookie is a small text file a website places in your browser so the site can function properly.
In short: FleetFault currently uses only strictly necessary (essential) cookies and local storage. We do not use analytics, tracking or marketing cookies, and we do not profile visitors.
1. Cookies and storage we use
| Name | Type | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
| PHPSESSID | Essential cookie | Maintains your signed-in session (keeps you logged in) | Up to 14 days |
| ff_lang | Local storage | Remembers your chosen language | Until cleared |
| ff_reports, ff_company | Local storage | Supports the report form and dashboard on your device | Until cleared |
2. Third-party resources
Some pages load resources from external providers, which may set their own cookies or receive data (e.g. your IP address):
- Google Sign-In (accounts.google.com) – only if you use Google sign-in;
- Google Fonts (fonts.gstatic.com) – loading fonts on some pages;
- flagcdn.com – flag icons for the language selector.
Their processing is governed by their own policies.
3. Managing and deleting cookies
You can view, manage and delete cookies and local storage at any time in your browser settings. Because the cookies we use are essential, disabling them may prevent you from signing in or using parts of the service. Look under the "Privacy / Cookies" section of your browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge).
